Preview for NDI - End User License Agreement
Effective date: 2026-10-24 (UTC)
1. Publisher and application
This agreement concerns Preview for NDI, provided by an individual publisher trading as VideoSupporterSoft (the "Publisher"). The application is not developed, sponsored or certified by Vizrt NDI AB (“NDI”). Support contact: [email protected], https://videosupportersoft.com/support ↗.
2. Application license
Subject to applicable law, the Microsoft Store terms governing your acquisition, this agreement and applicable third-party licenses, the Publisher grants you a non-exclusive license to install and run the application for its intended purpose on compatible general-purpose Windows PCs. The application is offered free of charge. No ownership of the application or of third-party intellectual property is transferred. This agreement does not create a subscription, payment obligation, promised service level or right to redistribute the application or NDI SDK separately.
3. Your source content and recordings
You are responsible for obtaining the rights and permissions needed to access, view, play, record and share your source content and for complying with applicable privacy and other laws. The Publisher claims no ownership of your source content, recordings, snapshots or settings. Playback mute, volume and delay settings do not alter recorded audio; muting playback does not mute recording.
4. Included NDI technology — required limitations
The application includes NDI runtime object code. Except to the extent an applicable law or an applicable third-party license expressly permits otherwise, you must not, and must not attempt to:
- Modify the NDI SDK, Specific SDK, NDI Products or any portion of them.
- Reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile or recompile those NDI components or their protocols, whether used internally or externally, or transmitted or received over a network.
- Circumvent technical limitations of those NDI components.
- Remove, obscure or alter proprietary notices or labels contained in or on those NDI components.
These restrictions concern the NDI components and do not cancel rights independently granted by the applicable third-party notices. Do not distribute the NDI SDK, tools or runtime as standalone products under this application license. The SDK's separate license governs anyone developing with the SDK; acquiring this application does not itself grant an SDK developer license.
5. NDI warranties and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the included NDI components are provided “as is” and “with all faults”, without any warranty from NDI or its licensors, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement or quiet enjoyment. Neither NDI nor its licensors provides a warranty for the application or a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NDI and its licensors disclaim liability for damages arising from use of the application or its bundled NDI components, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential, including loss of business, profits or data. Nothing in this agreement excludes rights, remedies or liabilities that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited.
6. Export controls
You must comply with relevant United States export-control and trade-sanctions laws and regulations and must not directly or indirectly export or re-export the bundled application or its components in violation of those laws, including to prohibited destinations, organizations or individuals. Other applicable mandatory export laws also continue to apply.
7. Third-party developers
If you use this application to develop a third-party product using any portion of the NDI SDK, you must separately comply with the NDI SDK license, maintain current and complete NDI compatibility as required by that license, and include in your end-user license agreement the applicable conditions required by paragraph 3(d) of the NDI SDK License Agreement, including the NDI limitations, notices, disclaimers, export conditions and developer pass-through obligations described here. This clause does not authorize SDK redistribution or development that the separate SDK license does not authorize.
8. Notices and independent third-party rights
NDI® is a registered trademark of Vizrt NDI AB. The NDI runtime's accompanying notice identifies: Copyright (C) 2023–2026 Vizrt NDI AB. All rights reserved. The installed SDK agreement paragraph 3(d) additionally calls for an appropriate notice identifying “NDI, Inc.” as copyright owner. NDI SDK copyright notice: Copyright NDI, Inc. Both notices are retained; the runtime's supplied notice is not replaced or removed.
The application distribution includes Processing.NDI.Lib.Licenses.txt, containing the NDI runtime's third-party notices and license conditions. Those separate license conditions control the corresponding third-party materials where applicable. This agreement does not revoke rights granted under those licenses or imply that the Publisher owns those materials. NDI information: https://ndi.video/ ↗. NDI SDK licensing information: https://docs.ndi.video/all/developing-with-ndi/sdk/licensing ↗.
9. Privacy and support
The application privacy policy describes how the application handles information. Support messages, including the sender's email address, message text and attachments, are normally retained for one year from receipt and then deleted. They may be kept longer only while needed to continue handling the inquiry or meet a legal obligation, and are deleted when that need ends.
10. Mandatory rights
This agreement does not limit mandatory consumer rights or override applicable Microsoft Store acquisition terms. This agreement does not specify a publisher-specific governing law, court, additional liability cap, automatic termination mechanism or ongoing update commitment.
