SRT TEST Signal 1.0.8 adds IPv6 and DNS destinations

SRT TEST Signal 1.0.8 is now available. The release expands the addresses you can use when testing an SRT receiver and makes reconnecting to DNS destinations more reliable.

What changed

• Caller mode accepts IPv4 addresses, IPv6 addresses, and DNS host names.
• DNS candidates are tried in order and resolved again when reconnecting.
• Listener mode accepts IPv4 and IPv6 connections on the same port.
• Host / IP values are normalized and validated before use.
• Application logs are written to the standard Windows Logs folder.

The DNS reconnect behavior is useful when a receiver name resolves to more than one address or its address changes. Dual-stack Listener support also lets one configured port accept either IPv4 or IPv6 connections.

Use SRT TEST Signal when you need a repeatable video and audio source without preparing a camera. Match the SRT mode, port, latency, and encryption settings with the receiver before starting transmission.
